Four Auburn players have been honored with preseason All-SEC selections by Athlon Sports, highlighting their expected impact in the upcoming 2026 college football season. Linebacker Xavier Atkins and cornerback Rayshawn Pleasant have been named to the First Team.
Atkins was a standout performer last season, leading the Tigers with 84 total tackles and nine sacks. Pleasant demonstrated his big-play ability as a defensive back and returner, including a 98-yard kickoff return touchdown and two interceptions against Arkansas.
Running back Jeremiah Cobb earned a spot on the Third Team after a standout season where he rushed for 969 yards and five touchdowns, coming close to the 1,000-yard mark. His return, alongside new additions, should bolster Auburn's running game.
Defensive lineman Cody Sigler will look to translate his success from Arkansas State to the SEC. Last season with the Red Wolves, he recorded 35 tackles, including seven for loss and five sacks, along with six pass deflections and a forced fumble.
