Auburn Football Camp Starts Aug. 4

Auburn football's preseason camp is scheduled to begin on August 4, approximately two weeks from now. Head coach Alex Golesh announced the date on Monday, July 20, providing the program with over four weeks until their season-opener. The Tigers will face Baylor in their first game of the season, set to take place on July 29 in Atlanta.

Golesh is entering his inaugural season with Auburn after a successful three-year tenure at South Florida, where he achieved a 23-15 record. He has transferred to Auburn, bringing 13 players and a significant portion of his coaching staff from South Florida with him. The team is also slated to make an appearance at SEC Media Days, with Golesh accompanied by quarterback Byrum Brown, defensive back Champ Anthony, and kicker Alex McPherson.
