Atletico Madrid's transfer market activity is far from over as the winter window nears its close. The departures of key players have created needs within Diego Simeone's squad, prompting director of football Mateu Alemany to address the situation.

Alemany indicated that while departures have occurred, only Conor Gallagher's significant contribution from the bench necessitates a direct replacement.
