This decisive blast came moments after Daulton Varsho tied the game with a two-out RBI single, as the Astros mounted a five-run rally in the final frame.

The Mariners had initially taken a 2-0 lead in the first inning, with Astros starter Peter Lambert giving up two runs. Yordan Alvarez's homer in the same inning cut the deficit in half. The Astros then surged ahead, scoring four runs in the second inning to establish a 5-2 advantage.

However, the Mariners fought back, scoring once in the sixth and twice in the eighth to tie the game. Houston managed to retake the lead, only for Seattle to score twice more in the 10th before Walker's game-ending heroics sealed the win.
