Villa Stuns Man City: Jackson's Brace Seals Victory

Aston Villa celebrated manager Unai Emery's fourth anniversary with a significant 2-1 victory over league leaders Manchester City at Villa Park. Nicolas Jackson was the star of the match, scoring a crucial brace to secure the three points for the home side. His first goal came early in the sixth minute, giving Villa an initial lead.

Manchester City fought back, with Erling Haaland scoring his ninth league goal of the season to equalize. However, Jackson's second goal, assisted by Mbaye shortly after his introduction, ultimately sealed the win for Aston Villa. The match saw several tactical substitutions and yellow cards, including bookings for Aston Villa's Cash and Cherki, and City's Guehi.
