Arthur Smith, who previously led the Atlanta Falcons as head coach, is reportedly being considered for the head coaching vacancy with the Tennessee Titans. Smith has a prior history with the Titans, having served for a decade, including two seasons as their offensive coordinator, during which his offenses ranked highly in total yards and scoring.
Following his time in Nashville, Smith transitioned to Atlanta, where his three-year tenure as Falcons head coach concluded with a 21-30 record, marked by three consecutive 7-10 seasons. Despite the inconsistency at quarterback, his teams featured strong rushing attacks. He subsequently took on the role of offensive coordinator for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
As the Steelers prepare for the NFL playoffs, Smith, adhering to NFL policy, cannot interview for head coaching positions until after his team's playoff run concludes. He has stated his focus remains solely on his current responsibilities with the Steelers.
