The Wildcats established control early, despite Norfolk State's initial ability to keep pace. Arizona methodically extended its lead through consistent inside scoring and made free throws, capitalizing on multiple three-point plays. By halftime, Krivas had already accumulated 15 points, seven rebounds, and two blocked shots, contributing to a 15-point lead.
