The 2026 Arizona high school track and field season has concluded, revealing a surge in talent, especially among freshmen. Hudson Hensley of Phoenix Brophy Prep emerged as a standout, winning the AIA state championship in javelin with a freshman state record throw of 192 feet, 9 inches, and earning a No. 2 national ranking for his class.
Chandler High's Jordin Duff also made history, setting new freshman state records in the 300-meter hurdles (38.19 seconds) and tying the record in the 110-meter hurdles (14.59 seconds).
