Under the agreement, Apple TV subscribers in the US will have access to every practice, qualifying session, sprint race, and Grand Prix throughout the F1 season, without the need for any additional subscription.
Eddy Cue, Apple's senior vice president of Services, expressed excitement about the partnership, stating that "2026 marks a transformative new era for Formula 1, from new teams to new regulations and cars with the best drivers in the world, and we look forward to delivering premium and innovative fan-first coverage to our customers in a way that only Apple can."
Formula 1 president and CEO Stefano Domenicali also hinted at a compelling streaming experience, saying, "We have a shared vision to bring this amazing sport to our fans in the U.S. and entice new fans through live broadcasts, engaging content, and a year-round approach to keep them hooked."
This announcement comes on the heels of the release of "F1 The Movie," which hit theaters in December 2025 and grossed over $629 million. The film's success is expected to help build anticipation and attract new fans ahead of the live F1 races arriving on Apple TV the following year.
