Olympic gold medalist Apolo Ohno has initiated legal action against his former girlfriend, Anna Pham, alleging she has failed to return a significant collection of his personal and business property. The lawsuit, filed recently, claims Pham is withholding hundreds of items, including valuable studio and audio-production equipment, photographic and video gear, electronics, and firearms.
Among the property Ohno seeks are computer hard drives containing irreplaceable content, Olympic race and training footage, documentary footage intended for future commercial sale, and an unpublished book manuscript. The athlete also specified personal Olympic photographs as being among the withheld items. The relationship reportedly ended in 2023, though they remained friends for part of 2024.
Ohno's legal team sent a formal written demand via Instagram in October 2025 for the return of his belongings. However, Pham reportedly only returned the Olympic medals she possessed. Pham, in her defense, stated Ohno had previously agreed she could return the items on her own timeline and that he would cover the associated costs when she was ready. Ohno's lawsuit is seeking substantial compensation, demanding $385,000 in damages.
