Andretti Formula E has finalized its driver pairings for the upcoming Madrid Rookie Test, scheduled for Sunday, March 22, at the Circuito del Jarama in Spain. The team announced that 17-year-old Freddie Slater and Callum Voisin will be behind the wheel. Slater, a prodigious talent and part of the Audi Driver Development Programme, is set to make his Formula E debut. He brings an impressive racing resume, including numerous victories in junior championships.
Voisin, who previously competed in a Formula E car for Cupra Kiro at last year's Berlin Rookie Test, will drive for Andretti for the first time. Voisin, a GB3 Championship winner in 2022, shared his enthusiasm for the opportunity to drive at the Jarama Circuit and to work with the historic Andretti team. The Madrid Rookie Test follows closely after the maiden Madrid E-Prix, which concludes on March 21.
