Ducks End 9-Game Slump in Tense 3-1 Victory

This victory, their first since December 20th, came despite the absence of their three top point scorers due to injury or illness.

Despite playing without key offensive players, the Ducks showcased a resurgence of their earlier season form. They exhibited superior skating, physicality, and hustle against the Stars. A delayed penalty call in the second period led to the opening goal, with Chris Kreider capitalizing on a precise pass from Mikael Granlund.

Beckett Sennecke extended the lead in the third period with an unassisted goal, capitalizing on a rebound. Although Roope Hintz scored for Dallas late in the game, Jacob Trouba sealed the Ducks' victory with an empty-net goal in the final seconds, securing a much-needed win.
