Unified super-featherweight champion Alycia Baumgardner has declared her intention to pursue lucrative fights against prominent boxers such as Katie Taylor, Amanda Serrano, and Mikaela Mayer.
Baumgardner, who holds the WBA, WBO, and IBF super-featherweight titles, expressed her belief that fellow British boxer Caroline Dubois is not yet prepared for a championship-level encounter. "I am chasing the biggest fights. Dubois is not ready," Baumgardner stated.
The American fighter is scheduled to defend her belts against South Korea's Bo Mi Re Shin at Madison Square Garden Theater in New York. Baumgardner anticipates a challenging fight but is confident in her superior hunger and skill.
Shin, however, is determined to upset Baumgardner's plans and claim the championship titles for herself. She acknowledged Baumgardner's strengths but expressed confidence in her own perseverance.
