NFL Vet Robinson Hangs Up Cleats After Stellar Career

Former NFL wide receiver Allen Robinson has announced his retirement from professional football. The Penn State alumnus concludes his career having recorded 564 receptions for 43 touchdowns.

Robinson was initially drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft. He emerged as a top receiver in his second season, achieving 80 catches for 1,400 yards and a league-leading 14 touchdowns. He continued to perform well in subsequent years with the Jaguars.

His career also included significant stints with the Chicago Bears, where he achieved two 1,000-yard seasons, followed by a year with the Los Angeles Rams. In 2023, he played for the Pittsburgh Steelers, and his last known regular season game was in 2024 with the Detroit Lions.
