A new SEC policy requires mandatory injury reports for football, basketball, and baseball preceding all conference games. This policy is strictly for conference matchups. Alabama is preparing for its ninth SEC game of the season, hosting Texas A&M on Wednesday, February 4.
During the recent game against Florida, Alabama forward Taylor Bol Bowen sustained a leg injury early in the first half and did not return. Coach Nate Oats confirmed the injury occurred within the first two minutes of play. Bol Bowen was later evaluated in Birmingham and is currently listed as day-to-day.
As of Thursday's press conference, Bol Bowen had not practiced and his participation against Texas A&M was uncertain. This leg injury is not expected to be long-term, though his status remains day-to-day. He previously missed games due to a hand injury.
