Alabama O-Line Suffers Huge Blow Before Kentucky Clash

Alabama football is facing a significant setback as right guard Michael Carroll has been ruled out for Saturday's game against Kentucky. Carroll was the sole returning starter on the offensive line from the 2025 season, making his absence a critical loss.

Further compounding the team's personnel issues, running back AK Dear will miss his second consecutive game due to an injury sustained during preseason camp. Several other players, including wide receiver Noah Rogers and defensive backs Jorden Edmonds, Zyan Gibson, and Nick Sherman, will also be sidelined for the road and SEC opener.

The Crimson Tide's availability report also listed defensive back Jireh Edwards as questionable, indicating a 50/50 chance of him playing. With Carroll out, Alabama will need to adjust its interior offensive line.

Alabama is set to kick off against Kentucky at 2:30 p.m. CT on Saturday in Lexington, with the game broadcast on ABC.
