As the 2025 NFL preseason came to a close this past Thursday-Saturday, several former Alabama Crimson Tide players continued to showcase their talents on the field. Among the standouts were some of the Tide's rookie class, as well as a few veterans fighting for roster spots.
Rookie safety Jalen Moore had his best NFL performance yet on Friday night, tying for the team-lead with seven tackles, including four solo stops, for the New York Jets in their 19-17 home loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. Moore also recorded a pass deflection and an interception, further solidifying his case for a starting role.
In Atlanta's 31-13 road defeat to the Dallas Cowboys, safety Jordan Harrison was the Falcons' leading tackler, finishing with seven total tackles, three of which were solo. The veteran Tide product will look to build on this strong outing as he competes for a roster spot.
Rookie linebacker Will Robinson made an impact for the Denver Broncos in their 28-19 road win over the New Orleans Saints. Robinson recorded four tackles, three solo, along with a sack, a tackle for loss, and a quarterback hit, showcasing his versatility and playmaking ability.
As the NFL teams finalize their rosters ahead of the regular season, these former Alabama standouts have certainly made their cases to be included on their respective teams' final 53-man squads.
