Air Force men's basketball coach Joe Scott's tenure has been indefinitely suspended as the academy investigates allegations concerning the treatment of cadet-athletes.
The school confirmed the suspension on Saturday, initiating an inquiry into Scott's conduct. Assistant coach Jon Jordan has been appointed as the interim head coach for the remainder of the season.
Scott, who is in his sixth year of his second stint with the Falcons, has compiled a 97-183 record. His coaching history includes leading the team to the NCAA Tournament in the 2003-04 season before coaching at Princeton and the University of Denver.
