As the AIFF Super Cup 2025-26 continues, FC Goa, the defending champion, faces a stern test against upstart Inter Kashi, the champion of India's second division, the I-League. Goa has had the most competitive experience this season, having played against Saudi Pro League giant Al Nassr and Indian Super League (ISL) side Jamshedpur FC.
In the other Group B match, Jamshedpur FC, which has signed two East Bengal players this summer, looks to settle scores with NorthEast United. The two teams had met in the previous edition's quarterfinals, with Jamshedpur emerging victorious on penalties.
Inter Kashi has already made its mark in the Super Cup, stunning ISL runner-up Bengaluru FC in the previous edition and drawing with Durand Cup champion NorthEast United in the current one. Goa's coach Manolo Marquez will need to be wary of the team's ability to score against the run of play.
