29 Mar
Summary
- KPMG will analyze bids for ISL and IWL commercial rights.
- A bid submitted after the deadline was not considered.
- AIFF will give state associations 90 days to review governance act.

The All India Football Federation (AIFF) Executive Committee convened on Sunday, March 29, 2026, in New Delhi to deliberate on crucial aspects of Indian football. A significant focus was placed on the commercial rights for the Indian Super League (ISL) and Indian Women's League (IWL).
KPMG has been tasked with preparing detailed analyses of all submitted bids for these commercial rights. Bidders, including FanCode and Genius Sports for the ISL and Federation Cup, and Capri Sports for the IWL, will engage with associated clubs to clarify any outstanding questions. Following the analysis, bidders must submit term sheets for consideration by the AIFF General Body.
Furthermore, the committee addressed the proposed National Sports Governance Act. State associations will be provided with a 90-day window to thoroughly examine the legal and operational implications of this new act. It was also noted that an unofficial bid from Football Sports Development Limited (FSDL), submitted after the official deadline, was not entertained by the committee.
