28 Jan
Summary
- Adam Lawrence rejoins Manchester United to manage their U21 team.
- He previously coached United's U18s for two years before leaving.
- The U21 squad currently leads the Premier League 2 table.

Adam Lawrence has been reappointed as the under-21 coach at Manchester United, a role he will hold until the season concludes. Lawrence departed the club in the summer after a four-year stint, having served as the under-18 coach for the last two years, before moving to Newcastle.
He left his position as under-21 player development lead at Newcastle earlier this month. Lawrence is set to manage many players he knows well, with the current under-21 squad holding the top spot in the Premier League 2 standings.
His reintegration into United staff occurred on Wednesday morning. The club reportedly views his return favorably, given his past popularity. Darren Fletcher will continue his duties as under-18 coach as planned, even as United's youth teams achieve success, including reaching the FA Youth Cup last-16.
