AC Milan secured a crucial 1-0 victory against Cagliari on Friday, with Rafael Leão's second-half goal proving to be the difference. The win sent the Rossoneri back to the summit of the Serie A table, extending their remarkable unbeaten run to 16 league matches.
Leão, returning from an adductor injury, was instrumental in the victory. He netted his sixth goal of the season five minutes into the second half, latching onto a pass from Adrien Rabiot and firing the ball into the net from 12 yards.
This pivotal result places AC Milan two points ahead of their city rivals Inter Milan and four points clear of defending champions Napoli, both of whom have yet to play this weekend. The team demonstrated resilience and offensive power in this important league fixture.
