49ers Eyeing Khalil Mack Trade Amidst Pass Rush Concerns
10 Oct
Summary
- 49ers seek pass rush depth with an undefeated record.
- Khalil Mack is a potential trade target from the Chargers.
- Jauan Jennings is also a trade possibility from the Vikings.
The San Francisco 49ers, currently undefeated, are showing interest in acquiring additional talent before the November 10 trade deadline, particularly to enhance their pass rush. While Nick Bosa and Mykel Williams are expected to join the defensive line, Bosa remains the primary threat that opposing teams focus on.
As a result, the Niners are considering veteran edge rusher Khalil Mack from the Los Angeles Chargers. Despite the Chargers' winless record, Mack has recorded three sacks and numerous tackles, earning a solid PFF defensive grade. One proposed trade suggests sending a conditional 2027 fourth-round pick to the Chargers for Mack.
Furthermore, another trade idea circulating involves Jauan Jennings. Reports suggest the Vikings might be willing to trade Jennings, who has had limited offensive production this season and is noted for potential personality issues. The 49ers are being urged to contact the Vikings about acquiring him before the deadline.
