The Gorakhpur Municipal Corporation has finalized the tender process, paving the way for construction to commence soon. This ambitious project will feature five distinct thematic galleries, including 'Cosmic Canvas & Future Frontiers,' 'Human Journey,' 'ISRO,' 'Quantum Quest Science Play,' and 'Geo Science.'
These galleries will utilize cutting-edge virtual reality, augmented reality, and interactive exhibits to illustrate complex scientific concepts. Visitors can expect an engaging exploration of the universe's evolution, Earth's history, and humankind's journey through interactive displays. The 'Human Journey' gallery promises immersive experiences, including virtual recreations of prehistoric cave art, while the 'Quantum Quest' gallery will offer hands-on science experiments and robotics modules.
Adding to the attractions, the museum will boast a state-of-the-art 7D theatre with motion seats and sensory effects, alongside a virtual helicopter ride simulator providing aerial views of Gorakhpur. The project has been assigned to UP Jal Nigam (Urban)'s C&DS Unit, with construction preparations underway.
