Germany Sees UFO Surge Amid Pentagon Revelations
10 Aug
Summary
- German UFO reports have surged significantly in recent times.
- Pentagon has declassified 41 documents on unexplained phenomena.
- Most sightings have earthly explanations, but some remain unresolved.

Germany has witnessed a substantial rise in reported unidentified anomalous phenomena, commonly known as UFOs. The Central Research Network for Extraordinary Celestial Phenomena (CENAP) is receiving an unprecedented volume of reports, with director Hansjuergen Koehler stating they now receive three to six reports daily. This surge occurs concurrently with the Pentagon's recent declassification of 41 documents related to unexplained phenomena.
While CENAP has investigated thousands of reports, Koehler remains cautious, noting that most sightings are eventually identified as aircraft, satellites, or natural occurrences. He stresses that unexplained phenomena do not necessarily imply extraterrestrial origins. The Pentagon's releases, initiated in February by order of former President Donald Trump, include videos, images, and witness testimonies dating from 1953 to the present.
Despite the growing number of declassified files, U.S. officials maintain there is no confirmed evidence of extraterrestrial life or technology. Many reported sightings have mundane explanations, such as infrared distortions or classified test flights. The Pentagon has indicated that more files will be released on a rolling basis.
