Summary
- A 3-pound, 13.7-ounce elephant garlic bulb set a new world record.
- Graham Barratt also secured a record for the heaviest Swedish heirloom snow pea.
- This marks Barratt's second set of world records for his harvests.

Gloucestershire grower Graham Barratt has officially broken two world records with his recent harvest. On June 25, his exceptionally large elephant garlic bulb was weighed and measured at Wargrave Nursery Plant Center in Berkshire, England.
The massive bulb of elephant garlic achieved a remarkable weight of 3 pounds and 13.7 ounces, with a diameter of 7.5 inches. This monumental vegetable has earned Barratt the official Guinness World Record for the heaviest elephant garlic.
Barratt's gardening prowess was further recognized on the same day when his Swedish heirloom snow pea was declared the world's heaviest. This particular pea weighed in at 0.98 ounces.
This achievement is not Barratt's first foray into record-breaking. In 2025, he previously set four world records, including those for the heaviest luffa at 6 pounds, 3.5 ounces, and the longest pea pod, measuring 7 inches.
