Cat's Vet Bill Inspires Hilarious Movie Quote Text

A Florida woman experienced a moment of unexpected humor during a costly veterinary emergency for her cat, Kuzco. After spending $4,000 on treatment for bartonella, commonly known as cat scratch fever, the cat owner received a follow-up text from the pharmacy supervisor. The message playfully quoted "The Emperor's New Groove," a movie whose main character shares her cat's name.

The pharmacist's text, which substituted "antibiotic" for "poison" in a line from the animated film, struck the owner as incredibly funny. She shared the text on TikTok, where it rapidly gained millions of views, sparking a wave of similar pet name-related anecdotes from other users in the comments.

Despite the initial scare and significant bill, Kuzco is now recovering well thanks to the antibiotics. The pharmacist, unaware of the virality, was later amused to learn about the TikTok sensation from the owner. This incident provided a memorable and lighthearted resolution to a stressful pet health ordeal.
