Cardiff Woman's 1000+ Vintage Christmas Decorations

Lisa Watts, a resident of Cardiff, has meticulously adorned her Victorian maisonette with over 1,000 vintage Christmas decorations, transforming it into a dazzling spectacle.

Her collection, amassed over three decades, features unique pieces such as a 1970s television set repurposed as a festive diorama and a 1940s illuminated Santa figurine. Watts states her passion stems from a desire to recapture the simpler, happier times of her 1970s childhood, a sentiment she believes resonates with many seeking nostalgic comforts.

This extraordinary display has garnered attention, even appearing on a BBC Wales Home of the Year special. One judge was so moved by the nostalgic atmosphere that he likened it to visiting his grandmother's house, underscoring the profound emotional impact of Watts's cherished collection.
