Recognizing the need for efficient cleaning operations, Prasad instructed officials to increase the number of pumps deployed for removing silt from 73 to 150, ensuring the cleaning work can be completed swiftly. He also emphasized the importance of organizing cleaning teams of 10 workers at each ghat to streamline the process.
To prioritize devotee convenience, Prasad directed the authorities to arrange proper changing room facilities at all major ghats. Additionally, he ordered the installation of additional lighting systems to ensure visitors do not face any inconvenience during the night hours.
The meeting was attended by various officials, including the Commissioner of Varanasi Division, the Vice Chairman of the Development Authority, the Municipal Commissioner, and representatives from other departments. They discussed the necessary steps to complete all assigned tasks with quality and within the stipulated time frame, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and accessibility at the ghats during the festive period.
