In the Pembrokeshire countryside, a unique glamping experience awaits at Melin Mabes. The property boasts a standout UFO-themed accommodation, designed to resemble a spacecraft that has just landed. This pod features tripod legs, a drop-down door with wheelchair lift access, and interiors inspired by NASA technology, including foil-lined walls and galactic decor.
Adding to the otherworldly charm, the UFO includes colour-changing lights, a smoke machine, and a sky-view dome with a telescope for stargazing. A separate kitchenette and a private garden with a hot tub enhance the guest experience. Uniquely, the bathroom facilities are housed within a life-sized TARDIS phone box, a nod to the popular Doctor Who series.
The UFO pod itself was originally used at the 2012 London Olympics and was transported to Wales. Melin Mabes, owned by Martin and CarolAnne Johnson, also offers other unique stays like a real treehouse and a gypsy caravan.
