A video shared on TikTok capturing a unique birthing experience has garnered significant attention, amassing over 12 million views. The footage shows 29-year-old Abigail Whitlock's two-year-old twin sons present in the delivery room as she undergoes labor.

Whitlock explained that having her sons nearby offered a needed distraction and brought smiles and laughter during the initial phase of labor. She noted that the hospital permitted children in the Labor and Delivery ward, allowing the toddlers to stay for approximately two hours. This intervention proved beneficial for Whitlock, who had been unexpectedly induced.

Despite some online criticism, Whitlock defended her decision, emphasizing that her children were supervised by herself, her mother, and her partner, and did not interfere with the medical staff or equipment. She expressed that it was special for her sons to witness the birth of their sister.
