Summary
- A £4,000 all-inclusive holiday was marred by shared hotel facilities.
- Elderly residents were frequently seen near the family's sun loungers.
- The tour operator has stopped bookings pending an investigation.

A planned £4,000 all-inclusive family holiday to Tunisia took a shocking turn when a woman discovered the hotel was attached to a residential care home. Tracy Haslam, accompanied by her daughters and grandchildren, reported that elderly residents, some reportedly with dementia, were frequently moved past her sun lounger.
Ms. Haslam stated she would never have booked the accommodation had she been aware of its connection to a care facility, deeming it inappropriate for children. She lodged a complaint with the tour operator, Loveholidays, citing feelings of deception.
Loveholidays acknowledged awareness of residential care guests in a dedicated hotel section. They have temporarily suspended bookings for the property and are conducting further investigations with their accommodation partner. Following media inquiries, the company issued a full apology and a refund to Ms. Haslam and her family.
