Tom Cruise has sold his secluded mountain retreat in Telluride, Colorado, for $39.5 million, securing the full asking price. The actor, who acquired the 320-acre estate in 1995, listed the property about two months ago. The sale marks the end of his nearly three-decade ownership of the notable private property.

The estate features a 10,000-square-foot main residence, completed in 1994, constructed with bleached cedar and native stone to blend with the mountain landscape. Large windows offer views of the surrounding woodland and peaks. The main house includes a great room, library, billiards room, media room, a gym, six bedrooms, and nine bathrooms.

Beyond the principal residence, a separate three-bedroom guest lodge provides additional accommodation. The extensive 320-acre grounds are equipped for outdoor recreation, featuring a sports court, snowmobile track, dirt bike course, and hiking trails integrated into the wooded terrain. This combination offers a unique mix of residential comfort and extensive private recreational facilities.

The sale of Cruise's property aligns with a recent surge in interest for second homes in Telluride, a popular resort town known for skiing and outdoor activities. The pandemic drove demand for larger, more secluded properties away from major cities, positioning estates like Cruise's among the high-value offerings in mountain markets. The transaction was handled by Eric Lavey and Dan Dockray of LIV Sotheby's International Realty.
