Tenant Refuses to Remove 6-Foot Python, Calls It "Jesus" in Landlord Dispute

In a bizarre incident that occurred last month, a landlord was left reeling after uncovering a six-foot python living in one of his tenant's spare rooms during a routine inspection. The unusual exchange, which was shared on TikTok by a UK-based property strategist, has since gone viral and left viewers divided over whether the tenant was in the wrong or simply misunderstood.

During the confrontation, the landlord asked the tenant, Darren, to explain the "very large tank" in the property. Darren matter-of-factly replied, "That's Jesus. He's a python." When the landlord reminded him that the tenancy agreement clearly stated no pets were allowed, Darren refused to back down, insisting, "He's not a pet. He's Jesus. He's family."
