Designer Taniya Nayak's Boston Penthouse Oasis

Taniya Nayak, known for her work on HGTV and Food Network, has curated a tranquil personal retreat in her Milton, Massachusetts penthouse. Initially pursuing a business degree at her father's suggestion, Nayak later returned to her passion for design, earning an honorary doctorate from the Boston Architectural College.

Her 2,600-square-foot, three-bedroom home, purchased in 2007, overlooks a river, offering calming, ever-changing natural views. Nayak and her husband have extensively renovated the space, focusing on a neutral color palette accented with rich textures and a modern aesthetic. Key features include an open-concept kitchen and a redesigned primary bedroom.

Nayak identifies two primary sanctuary spots within her home: a serene corner by the main window for morning coffee, and her updated bedroom, designed for relaxation and watching television. She also established a moody, black-painted home office to create a dedicated workspace, enhancing focus and work-life separation.
