Reality Star's Son to Enter Priesthood

Sutton Stracke's son, Philip, 22, is embarking on a new spiritual journey, intending to enter seminary school with the goal of joining the priesthood. This announcement comes after Philip's recent graduation from The Citadel, a military college located in South Carolina. Stracke shared that she was deeply moved, even crying, upon hearing her son's decision, acknowledging the profound commitment involved in six years of seminary training followed by potential ordination.

Philip, who also has siblings James, 19, and Porter, 24, expressed a positive outlook on his chosen path, noting that he can always leave seminary if it proves unsuitable. His mother, Sutton, has previously discussed his career ambitions, recalling his earlier desire to join the army, which led her to send him to Georgia for a challenging job experience to make him "uncomfortable." This experience ultimately led him to pursue college, and now, a spiritual vocation.
