The 39th Surajkund International Atmanirbhar Craft Festival, commencing on January 31, 2026, is set to introduce significant traffic disruptions across Faridabad. Traffic police have alerted citizens to major disruptions on several routes connecting Gurgaon, Faridabad, and Delhi.
Heavy and commercial vehicles will be prohibited from accessing specific roads leading to Surajkund, including sections on Pali, Ankhir, NHPC Chowk, and Prahladpur Delhi Border, between 7 AM and 12 midnight daily during the fair. Exemptions are provided for vehicles carrying essential goods like milk, fruits, vegetables, and medicines.
Further restrictions apply to heavy vehicles on Surajkund Craft Mela Road via Silver Oaks and Khushboo Chowk, Faridabad Toll, Gwal Pahari, Ghata T-point, and Vatika SPR between 7 AM and 11 PM. These vehicles are also barred from parking on Surajkund Craft Mela Road.
