Pride Month in the SouthCoast region will feature a unified celebration this year, as the South Coast LGBTQ+ Network brings its annual 2026 Pride event to Taunton. The consolidated event, Pride South Coast 2026, is scheduled for Saturday, June 6, from noon to 5 p.m. at Weir Riverfront Park in Taunton.
This marks a strategic shift for the Network, which previously held separate celebrations in both Taunton and New Bedford. Moving forward, the organization will adopt an alternating-city model, hosting one large Pride event per year to foster a single, unified community gathering.
In addition to the June 6 celebration, the South Coast LGBTQ+ Network will launch its new website. This digital hub is designed to be a comprehensive resource for LGBTQ+ individuals and families throughout the region, offering support, program information, and accessible information.
Other Pride events scheduled for June 2026 include the Fall River Pride Festival on June 7, the 8th annual AHA! Pride Block Party in New Bedford on June 11, Gallery Bar NB Pride Celebration on June 13, Drag Brunch at The Vault on June 28, and Fairhaven's Got Pride on June 28.
