The turning point came when Sonakshi realized she could not even run on a treadmill for more than 30 seconds. "Mai 18 saal ki thi, and treadmill par 30 second se Zada bhaag nhi paati thi. That struck me very badly once. I was like I don't want to live this unhealthy life," she said.

Sonakshi then tried various methods, including yoga, gym, cardio exercises, Pilates, and weight training, to achieve her weight loss goals. She particularly enjoyed Pilates, saying, "I started doing Pilates about six months back and it's really suited me."

Now, 15 years into her acting career, Sonakshi continues to maintain a healthy body image, though she admits it's not always easy, especially for someone who loves food as much as she does.
