Her parents, Rob and Alyce Le Brunn-Healey, founded The Bluebell Circle, a fundraising organisation. This initiative successfully raised approximately £50,000, enabling the creation of a new outdoor community space in Halling, which now includes Sofia's Throne.
The unveiling ceremony took place on Sunday, following a community march and speeches honouring Sofia's life. The event underscored the strong community support for the family during their tragic circumstances. Liz Maclaren, a nurse who cared for Sofia, described the event as "incredible" and "beautiful."
The family intends to continue fundraising efforts to further develop the riverside area adjacent to the memorial. The community's involvement highlights their deep affection for Sofia and their desire to support the family through their grief.
