TV Star Rushes Daughter to A&E in Health Scare

Presenter Sian Welby has shared that her young daughter, Ruby, was recently taken to the hospital's A&E department. The scare occurred due to the toddler experiencing a very high temperature, which led to febrile convulsions. Welby described these as extreme shivering and jerky movements, noting that the experience was frightening.

This was not the first time Ruby had suffered from such convulsions, prompting Welby and her fiancé Jake Beckett to seek immediate medical attention. They are now back home with Ruby, who is recovering well. Welby took to social media to thank the medical staff at St. George's hospital for their care and for providing her daughter with a teddy bear.
