Summary
- David Schumacher married Vivien Keszthelyi in Salzburg.
- His mother, Cora Schumacher, was not invited.
- Ralf Schumacher celebrated his son's wedding.

Racing driver David Schumacher, 24, son of Michael Schumacher's brother Ralf, married Hungarian racing driver Vivien Keszthelyi, 25, on Friday. The civil ceremony took place at the historic Schloss Mirabell in Salzburg, with only close friends and family present.
David and Vivien confirmed their union on Instagram, sharing romantic photos from the event. While David expressed his joy at being surrounded by loved ones, his mother, Cora Schumacher, 49, was notably absent and unaware of the wedding until it had concluded. She shared her deep sadness at being excluded from her son's big day.
The rift between David and his mother stems from her 2015 acrimonious split from Ralf Schumacher. Tensions escalated in 2024 when Ralf came out as gay and announced his engagement to politician Étienne Bousquet-Cassagne, a move Cora publicly accused him of betraying her with. David had previously posted on social media urging his mother to leave them alone and recounting difficult childhood experiences.
Ralf Schumacher was present at the wedding and celebrated his son's marriage, reposting wedding photos on Instagram. The venue held significance as it was where Ralf and Cora themselves married in 2001. David and Vivien, who became engaged in November, now reside in Hallwang, near Salzburg.
