Andrea Hawkins, organizer of the Saltford Santa Dash, highlighted the "amazing" turnout and "fabulous support" from the community, where 750 runners contributed to charities like Mencap and Cardiac Risk in the Young.
Similar enthusiasm was evident in Cirencester's Abbey Grounds for the Churn Project, supporting those facing isolation and mental health challenges. Bristol's event, now in its 24th year, saw hundreds of Santas on bikes raising money for Children's Hospice South West, with some visiting the hospice directly to spread Christmas cheer.
