Santa's Early Visit Brightens Hospital Holidays

This annual event, now in its tenth year, is spearheaded by Ryan Malia, inspired by his son's battle with neuroblastoma. The tradition has flourished into a substantial community initiative.

The volunteer-led effort sees the donation of over 500 gifts annually, with many hundreds of handmade leis also arriving from Hawaii. Beyond gift-giving, the event aims to foster neuroblastoma awareness and provide comfort to families navigating serious childhood illnesses. Volunteers, including musicians and elves, accompany Santa to ensure every child receives a gift and a festive greeting.
