Saif Ali Khan on raising kids with inclusive religious outlook

Actor Saif Ali Khan has discussed his approach to raising his children with an inclusive view on religion. He shared that faith discussions are a common occurrence within his family, aiming to foster an understanding of spirituality rather than strict dogma.

Saif, who hails from an interfaith family, explained his philosophy: "there's one god and he has many names." He emphasizes that core religious values should focus on love and forgiveness towards others. This perspective is deeply rooted in his own experiences, having grown up in Christian schools that celebrated multiple festivals.

He also recounted a recent conversation with his son Taimur, who astutely distinguished between religion and methodology. Saif highlighted his mother and wife's open-mindedness, which has contributed to a spiritual, rather than dogmatic, upbringing for his children.
