William also shared fond memories of his own childhood, recalling how he and his cousins would chase each other around the halls of Windsor Castle after hours. He reminisced about the old wooden floors that would sometimes leave splinters in their feet, a far cry from the plush carpets his children now enjoy while running through the same spaces.
