Rosemary Conley, now 79, maintains a remarkable size eight figure, asserting she has not gained weight in 40 years. She credits her success to her "Hip and Thigh Diet," developed in the 1980s. Conley, who has seen numerous diet trends emerge and fade over her 55-year career, offers a perspective on current weight-loss injections.

She views modern diet jabs like Ozempic and Mounjaro as helpful tools for the very overweight but stresses they are not cures. Conley warns that without corresponding changes in diet and exercise, weight regain is likely when injections cease. She also raises concerns about the unknown long-term health impacts of these medications.

Her own method, which involves eliminating fat, limiting dairy and meat, and emphasizing vegetables and grains alongside exercise, has proven effective. Conley has faced personal health challenges, including arthritis requiring multiple operations and a partial knee replacement.

She credits her active lifestyle for potentially contributing to her arthritis but remains committed to living as fully as possible. Conley also highlighted her husband's successful battle with metastatic malignant melanoma in 2023, noting their shared commitment to a healthier lifestyle.
