A vibrant new dining option, Rasa Hot Chicken & Grill, has opened its doors on Main Street in Burdett, catering to the Finger Lakes community. The establishment specializes in two distinct culinary styles: Nashville-style hot chicken and New York City Mediterranean Grill. Founder and owner Farooq Abbas expressed gratitude for the community's enthusiastic reception since the initial work began on the space.

Abbas detailed significant renovations to the former Hungry Burd and Smok'n Bones BBQ location, aiming to create a special atmosphere with unique artwork. Rasa Hot Chicken & Grill emphasizes serving everything fresh, made to order, with customizable heat levels for its hot chicken offerings. The menu features a variety of items including sliders, platters, wings, and desserts, available for dine-in, take-out, and catering. The restaurant observes a brief closure on Fridays between 1-2:30 p.m. for prayer.
