A unique opportunity to acquire a piece of royal history is available as a full bottle of Dom Pérignon Vintage 1961, originally produced for the 1981 wedding of Princess Diana and King Charles III, goes to auction.
This exceptionally rare Champagne, one of only 12 magnum bottles created for the iconic event, is being offered by Bruun Rasmussen in Denmark. The auction house expects the bottle to attract considerable attention from collectors of both fine wine and royal memorabilia, with an estimated sale price between 500,000 and 600,000 Danish Kroner, approximately $78,000 to $95,000.
Thomas Rosendahl, head of Bruun Rasmussen's wine department, expressed high confidence in the bottle's condition, stating it is fully drinkable and a one-of-a-kind item.
