Summary
- Australian mother naturally conceived rare identical quadruplets.
- The quadruplets were born healthy at 28 weeks and four days.
- Family crowdfunding to support expenses for eight children.

A mother from Brisbane, Queensland, has given birth to rare identical quadruplet daughters, naturally conceived without fertility treatments. This extraordinary event brings her total family to eight children. Doctors described the monozygotic quadruplets, a one-in-15-million occurrence, as particularly remarkable due to them sharing the same placenta.
The pregnancy was considered high-risk but progressed to 28 weeks and four days before the babies, Emily, Harriet, Catherine, and Alexa, were safely delivered via C-section on Tuesday, July 14. Mother and newborns are reported to be doing well, though the premature infants will remain in the NICU for several weeks to gain strength.
The family has launched a GoFundMe campaign to help offset the considerable expenses of caring for four newborns simultaneously, including a larger vehicle and essential supplies. The community has responded generously, raising over $39,000 AUD to date.
